You the customer get to decide how you want to pay. You can use a normal business method of an hourly rate, choose to donate and bless us, or if you need to, have us donate our labor to you! Your satisfaction is a must! When we can give to you in love, it means more than anything money could do.
Labor
If you choose the hourly rate, labor is charged at $60.00 an hour, up to $120 for in store labor. Service calls need to be at the official rate, unless specific plans are made.We offer as much free software as we can to the home user; if you don't have virus protection, we can give it to you at no cost. We give spyware protection to everyone as it is licenced for home users and businesses. Businesses unfortunately cannot have the free antivirus, be we offer an excellent paid version at $52.00 for 2 years. We believe that it is the best all-around antivirus on the market, even though it is not as well known as some of the larger companies.
New Computers
New computers are sold at wholesale with our profit coming from the same labor specifications. For standard labor We ask for $100 over cost for a new computer, $50 to transfer your old computer's programs and data (we have a program to transfer everything, but it is $50 a license, this is non-negotiable), and $30 to deliver. We stock notebooks when we can find a good price that's worth passing on to you!Parts
Computers By Ken, LLC has several thousand dollars worth of parts available at good prices. We believe in shopping around for the best prices possible without sacrificing quality, and passing along the good prices to anyone who wants to buy parts. Our markup is much lower than many retail stores, especially on cables where most places will often make 10 times the wholesale price just because they can do it. We'll make our money on the service, so there's no point in reaming you out for a part.
